National schools chaplaincy & student welfare program
Our school has a chaplaincy service funded by NSCSWP.
Our school chaplain is recognised by the school community and the appropriate governing body for the school as having skills and experience to deliver school chaplaincy to our community. Is recognised through formal ordination, commissioning, recognised religious qualifications or endorsement by a recognised or accepted state government or accepted religious institution or a state/territory government approved chaplaincy service and meets the minimum qualification requirements.
The Chaplain supports our school care program and runs activities during and after school hours for students. Permission slips are required to be signed by parents if students are to participate.
Our Chaplain is also available to assist families and can provide links to a number of support agencies.
